Red, White, Blue & Cute

The 4th was a little rough this year because Ben’s asthma was giving him a lot of trouble. :( I’m still learning how to stay on top of it and use his different medications effectively. The poor guy was so miserable all day and I just felt so bad for him.
We went down to the neighborhood gathering at the park for lunch – they had a little parade, jump house with water slide, and yummy hot dogs. Mom came into town after naptime. Our fun freighbors, The  Featherstons, invited us over to cook out and watch fireworks. Bri & I took Grace & Noah, but Ben ended up staying home with Sweetie. He did join us for a quick trip up to La Cantera to catch the Six Flags fireworks, but by the time we got home he was asking to go to bed (even though some other neighbors were putting on a pretty huge fireworks display of their own.) Poor little guy.
I didn’t take out the camera once all day long, but I did get pics of the kids earlier in the week in the clothes that Mom got them. They were too cute! Thanks, Sweetie, for the red, white, & blue duds. :)
